Description:

Bred by the world class breeder of elite quarter horses, Gunna Bea Prince aka “Prince” was born on the beautiful rolling acres of bermuda grass at San Juan Ranch in Weatherford, Texas. His dam, Whiz Guinevere (By Topsail Whiz) is one of San Juan Ranches signature broodmares, a producer of over $40,000 in NRHA & NRCHA Money Earners. His sire, whom needs no introduction but we will do it anyway is the $11.6 Million Dollar NRHA Hall of Fame Sire, Gunnatrashya. In a world full of performance horse sires, Gunnatrashya continues to stand out amongst the leaders in every western performance horse division. A sire who’s offspring are significantly versatile, sound, & intelligent. A producer of substance, conformation, and elite pedigree.

Prince is a half brother to the 2nd highest earning reining horse of all time & The Run for a Million Champion, Gunna Stop; as well as many other recognizable names, like the 2022 Level 4 NRHA Open Futurity Champion shown by Casey Deary, Ten Thirty. Prince’s siblings are NRHA Futurity & Derby Champions, as well as NRCHA Open Reserve Futurity Champions like Snapdragons.

Raised by San Juan Ranch, Gunna Bea Prince went on to sell at the infamous Legacy Reiners Breeders sale as a yearling. Continuing his aptitude of appropriate care & education, Prince was trained by the current #6 Leading NRHA Professional & 2023 American Performance Horseman Champion, Fernando Salgado.

After coming through the other side of an incredible program, thus began Gunna Bea Prince most favorite career of all: Being adored by a non pro. Not only is this horse packed with incredible consistency & honesty in each of his reining maneuvers- he is the biggest joy to have in your barn. He ground ties, he has a human like personality that is goofy, but even more kind. He knows what love is and embraces it at any chance he can get- but is not spoiled or pushy in the slightest. He’s that horse you can walk into the barn after a long day and just squeeze and he will nuzzle you while you do it.
He just brings peace of mind all the way around. From the littlest rider in the barn to the eldest- Prince is your dependable “noble” steed.

Getting into the meat of how he handles and rides:
He is a talented non pro horse that has a lot in the tank when asked and potential to earn you a TON of money in the show pen. He is NOT a reiner reject in the slightest, and could gladly continue his career in that discipline. He’s only been shown 3 times & placed in the top 3 each time in the Level 2 to Level 4 Rookie Non Pro. Prince also has impeccable movement that would greatly succeed as a high level ranch rider as well. He has such a floaty gait & is hands down the most comfortable horse I have ever ridden. He just does all the work while you sit up there and look pretty.

He is a push style packer most days, and it doesn’t matter if you want to go lope outside, ride into town, down the trails, or head to a horse show- this gelding shows up to each day with the same mind & attitude. You can ride him in a port bit with rawhide reins, a halter, or completely bridle-less it really doesn’t matter to him.

He is 100% sound with clean x rays & a vet statement (11-13-2023) from one of the most world renowned performance horse veterinarians of our age- John McCarrol D.V.M. of Equine Medical Associates, P.a. in Aubrey, Texas. For a horse that has been in professional training & has been shown, he has exemplary x rays that are supported by his incredible movement that I honestly have never seen from a reiner.

In summary, you will not find another one like him.
This horse has brought a ton of comfort and joy into my life, he will continue to do the same for anyone he comes into contact with.

So I just gave the greatest write up of all time that is directly supported by evidence & facts... so I will give you another one. Life is short. Very short. This year has taught me that more than ever… and my biggest piece of advice is if you can afford to do it, you should buy yourself the nice horse. The best horse. Life is too short to settle for mediocrity or to not be implicitly satisfied from a priceless investment in your safety & happiness.
